Wilson’s World: Visiting the Community Table Bistro

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A couple of weeks ago Wilson visited the new Goodwill of the Southern Piedmont’s GW specialty store and while he was there he gave us a peek at the Community Table Bistro that was getting ready to open.
Well, the bistro has recently opened and is ready for business. Wilson stopped back by this morning to enjoy breakfast while talking with Andrew King who is the Director of Food Services for the bistro.
Community Table Bistro, provides on-the-job training for Goodwill clients, while offering healthy and homemade food and beverage options to visitors of the Goodwill Opportunity Campus. The bistro is serving breakfast and lunch 6:30am until 3pm. Everything they serve is freshly prepared on premises every day with some items grown in their own garden.
Goodwill’s Community Table Bistro is located in the Leon Levine Opportunity Center on the Goodwill Opportunity Campus at 5301 Wilkinson Blvd and is open Monday through Friday from 6:30am until 3pm. Find out more about the bistro and download a menu HERE.
