Vice President Biden Officiates Gay Marriage Ceremony At His Home

Vice President Joe Biden officiated a wedding for two gay White House Staffers at his home on Monday.

Mr. Biden performed the nuptials for Brian Mosteller and Joe Mashie, at their request, exactly one year after the legalization of gay marriage.

Apparently, the Vice President was granted a temporary license from the District of Columbia to conduct the ceremony.

Mosteller is the director for Oval Office operations and Mashie is a trip coordinator for the First Lady.

Biden is an advocate of LGBTQ rights as well as women’s rights.Β Β  He recently wrote an open letter to the victim of a sexual assault at Stanford University.
