Chick-Fil-A Owner Charged With Criminal Sexual Conduct With Minor

FORT MILL, S.C. – Police have charged a Chick-Fil-A owner for allegedly attempting to meet up with a 14-year-old boy, according to the Fort Mill police Department.

On January 10th at approximately 1:33 p.m., officers were dispatched in reference to an alleged assault on a juvenile.

Throughout an investigation and interviews with the victim and his mother, detectives obtained a photo of the suspect, identified as 56-year-old Lafe Thompson.

Police met with Thompson where he confirmed that he was in Fort Mill to meet with a 14-year-old man.

According to his LinkedIn Page, Thompson is listed as the owner of a Chick-Fil-A in Lancaster. He’s also listed as the Restaurant Operator on Chick-Fil-A’s β€œAbout Us” page.

Thompson was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor between the age of 11 to 14 years old.

He is currently being held at the Moss Justice Center.
