Scattered Storms, Slight Cooling Trend

Wednesday through Friday will not be quite as hot with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. A bit more cloud cover is expected for the second half of the week with a better chance for scattered storms, mostly during the afternoon and evening. Although no widespread heavy rain is anticipated, some of the storms may produce heavy rain, frequent lightning, and gusty winds. Similar conditions will linger into the upcoming weekend.

Wednesday Night: A few evening storms, mild and muggy. Low 74°. Light wind.

Thursday: Warm and muggy, scattered storms. High 91°. Light wind.
