Teenager Fatally Shot In North Charlotte

The deceased victim has been identified as 17-year-old Daikwan Deese, according to CMPD.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A homicide investigation is underway after a victim was found fatally shot in North Charlotte, according to a police report.

Officers with CMPD responded to Audrey Street where they located two individuals with apparent gun shot wounds. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police responded to the scene on Tuesday, January 16th around 2:38 p.m.
