Man Arrested For Robbing Three Local Banks
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police arrest the man accused of robbing three local banks.
Police say Henry MillerΒ robbed three banks since the end of August. Β On Monday, Miller is accused of robbing a Wells Fargo on S. Sharon Amity.
Detectives were able to confirm Miller was the suspect in robbery that happened today as well as two other robberies in the area.
The first bank Miller is accused of robbing is the Wells Fargo on North Tryon Street, which is next door to the CMPD N. Tryon Division headquarters. Β Police say Miller robbed that bank on August 26th.
The incident happened just after 9am when Miller allegedlyΒ handed a note to the teller saying it was an armed robbery. Officials say the weapon was never seen, but Miller was given the money and then he left on foot. He was last seen going up North Tryon Street towards Sugar Creek Road.
Police believe Miller also robbed a SunTrust Bank on S. Sharon Amity Road on September 6th. Β Investigators say heΒ entered the bank around 9am and proceeded to demand money from an employee and implied that he had a gun.
Miller has been charged with three counts of common law robbery.
