Up ‘n Adam: Discovery Place Nature

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Adam Wurtzel visited Discovery Place Nature to celebrate something you wouldn’t typically celebrate, the museum is closing!

Now through 1/31, the museum is Community Farewell Days where guest can enjoy free admission.  Discovery Place Nature will then close and be torn down, as they make way for a brand new facility featuring new exhibits and a public plaza.

The highlight of the morning was “Up ‘n Adam’s” chance at going inside one of the exhibits, for an up close and personal look at flying squirrels.
