Medical Examiner Identifies Remains Found In Gaston County

LOWELL, N.C. – The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the remains of a man who was reported missing in 2020 in Gaston County.

According to a news release, the remains have been identified as Sammie “Chip” Davis. Officers say Davis was 53-years-old when he was reported missing in late 2020.

Davis was residing on South Church Street in Lowell when he was reported missing, police say.
