CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was at Romare Bearden Park this morning in Uptown Charlotte where volunteers with the F.F. Steven Coakley Foundation are placing American flags in preparation for this Sunday’s 9/11 Flags of Remembrance.
Although it has been 15 years since 2,996 people perished when the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers were attacked by terrorists, America has promised to never forget.Β And again this weekend, we will take the time to stop, honor and remember those who perished on September 11, 2001.
