CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are responding to the UNC Charlotte campus.
Officers say there was a false active shooter threat made against the university. Police say there is no evidence of an active shooter and no injuries have been reported. Students and staff are safe, according to officials. The public is asked to please avoid the area as officer investigate.
