CHARLOTTE, N.C β Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department identified a teen who was fatally shot on Tuesday.
The victim in this case has been identified as Melakah Corbette.
Officers responded to a call for service on Pitts Drive around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, officers say they located Corbette with gunshot wounds.
Medic pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
