DENVER, N.C. – Police are seeking a suspect accused of breaking in the Crafty Burger Restaurant on December 30th.
Detectives responded to a call for service on Brentwood Road. Upon arrival, deputies say they discovered the building had been broken into and a safe had been stolen from the office area of the restaurant.
After reviewing surveillance footage of the incident, an investigation ensued revealing the owner of the vehicle used in the break-in, along with two other subjects that entered the business.
The suspects were identified as Deangelo Terrell Ardrey, 20, Jerrius Verron Sarvis, 18, and a juvenile all from Charlotte, NC.
Warrants were issued for Ardrey and Sarvis and forwarded to the U.S. Marshal’s Office Carolinas Regional Task Force who located Ardrey at a residence in Charlotte and took him into custody. Ardrey was turned over to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office detectives.
Ardrey was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony conspiracy and felony safe cracking. He was taken before a Lincoln County magistrate and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
Warrants have been issued for Jerrius Verron Sarvis, 18, on two felony counts of breaking and entering a building.
