Man Arrested For Setting Off Firework Near A Gas Station

FALLSTON, N.C. – A man is facing charges for allegedly setting off fireworks near a gas station in Fallston, North Carolina.

Cleveland County deputies arrested 23-year-old William Fioritto on Friday.

Investigators believe he set off an illegal mortar-style firework near the gas pumps of the store on February 11th. He allegedly purchased the fireworks in another state.

Fioritto is charged with burning of certain buildings, going armed to the terror of the public and possession of pyrotechnics. He is being held at the Cleveland County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
