CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are conducting a homicide investigation following a shooting on Thursday.
Officers responded to a medic service call around 8:30 a.m. on West Trade Street. Upon arrival, Officers says they discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Homicide Unit detectives responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence.
