MORGANTON, NC– An early morning water break has left some people with low water pressure in Morganton.
Water Treatment Plant Supervisor, Jason Greene, said at least three million gallons drained out of the water main before workers could isolate the leak.
Residents are being encouraged to conserve water while the system recovers from the water loss.
βNow that we located and stopped that second leak, the main water tanks are starting to fill,β Green said. βMorganton Heights should have normal water pressure soon.β
