CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An overturned tractor trailer is causing massive backups Monday on the I-485 to I-77 ramp in north Charlotte.
The accident happened around 1:30pm and is expected to cause backups for several hours as crews work to clean up the accident site.
A fuel spill has also been reported. This is all near mile marker 23 on the inner loop of I-485. Drivers can take Statesville Road as an alternate route.
