MONROE, N.C. – Two women are facing charges following an investigation into prostitution at a Monroe spa, according to the Monroe Police Department.
Police charged Zhaoyi Yu and Hong Zheng with maintaining a place for prostitution and soliciting prostitution.
Police in Monroe and Statesville have been working together for the past month on a joint investigation into a prostitution criminal enterprise.
Undercover officers went to Yan Spa in Monroe where police said they were offered sexual acts for money every time.
Yu and Zheng were living at the spa where they worked, officials said.
This case is still under investigation.
