ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. – Rowan County deputies were dispatched to I-85 in response to a shooting that occurred while several vehicles chased each other at high rates of speed, according to a news release.
The release states that on March 31, 2024, four vehicles were speeding on the 77000 block of Interstate 85 which resulted in one vehicle shooting at another. Deputies say they located two of the vehicles that crashed and the occupants had fled, but were quickly located and interviewed.
