Wilson’s World: Visiting the Hickory Museum of Art

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was in Hickory today where he was visiting one of the gems of Catawba County, the Hickory Museum of Art. The museum is located in the same building as the Catawba Science Center on the SALT Block. It offers American art and Southern folk art as well as changing exhibitions.
North Carolina artist Pat Viles has returned to the museum with a retrospective of her art through December 4th. Visitors can also view works from famed pop artist Andy Warhol.
Located on Third Ave, NE in Hickory, The Hickory Museum of Art is open Tuesday through Sunday and admission is free. For more information including museum hours, events and directions, visit their website hickoryart.org.
