Organizations From Around The Country Help Rock Hill Residents With Storm Clean Up

ROCK HILL, S.C. — The aftermath of a weekend hail storm is attracting volunteers from around to the country to Rock Hill, S.C.

There is plenty of work to do as several homes still have trees on top of them, with hail damage and scattered branches littering neighborhoods.

Volunteers from around the country are joining Samaritan’s Purse to help return residents to normal. The Christian non-profit based in Boone, North Carolina specializes in crises response.

Even insurance companies are creating drive though locations for the 500 plus claims that have to be submitted due to the storm.

Volunteer responders expect cleanup will be a slow process, but have hope in returning all residents lives back to normal.
