Deadly Tornado Passes Through Oklahoma

SULFUR, OKLAHOMA — A deadly tornado caused widespread damage over the weekend as severe storms passed through Oklahoma.

Heavy rain and large hail was reported from Missouri to Texas. Officials in Oklahoma confirmed at least four people were killed, including an infant after a tornado outbreak there on Saturday, April 27th.

In Nebraska, a large tornado cell tore through a suburb of Omaha on Friday.

One of the tornadoes that hit there had a preliminary rating of EF 3 with wind speeds topping 135mph.

According to the National Weather Service, the governor of Nebraska called it a miracle there were no deaths reported and one man credits hot dogs for saving his life.
