Procession For Fallen CMPD Officer Joshua Eyer
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A memorial is growing for fallen CMPD Officer Joshua Eyer. His vehicle draped with an American flag as people have placed flowers on top of his cruiser.
The officer’s life will be honored at 10:30am Friday morning at First Baptist Church on South Davidson Street in Uptown. It’s been a harrowing 24 hours for law enforcement, their loved ones, and the community they serve.
A procession was held on Tuesday, April 30th for Officer Eyer. Officers escorted the body of their fallen brother from the medical examiner’s office to a funeral home in West Charlotte.
Officer Eyer was one of four officers who died while attempted to serve a warrant in east Charlotte on Monday, April 29th.
