Up ‘n Adam: Queen City Pipe & Drums

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Adam Wurtzel met the Queen City Pipe & Drums band to learn more about traditional Scottish music in Charlotte, and get a lesson in playing bagpipes!

Band Director Andrea Jones told “Up ‘n Adam” about the history of the band, and introduced him to various parents and kids who get to perform in the band together.  The morning also included a beautiful performance outside our WCCB studios, previewing their Summer Concert on June 8th.
