Charlotte Sports Organizations Offering “Free Bet” To Benefit Non-Profit
CHARLOTTE, NC –Between the Coca-Cola 600, a Charlotte FC match and the inaugural Meck Mile, Memorial Day weekend is shaping up to be a big few days for sports and sports betting around Charlotte.
Miller Yoho is with Charlotte Sports Foundation, who teamed up with NASCAR and the Charlotte FC on Memorial Day Weekend.
“Everyone knew that Memorial Day weekend was going to be big for Charlotte Sports, and we wanted people to be excited about it. And obviously gambling is a hot topic, so why not use that as a vehicle to do a little good and support the veterans in the community?” asked Yoho.
To enter go to charlotteparlay.com to enter your bet for free. Pick the finishing times for the Meck Mile, the total goals for the Charlotte FC/Philadelphia Union match and the length of the Coca-Cola 600 race.
For each entry, $1 will go to Veterans Bridge Home.
“It’s really special that the Charlotte Sports Foundation reached out to us and said, hey, we want to do this and we want you to be part of it,” said Steve Cole.
Veterans Bridge Home has helped thousands of veterans in the last 13 years in a variety ways like helping them find jobs and creating social connections in civilian life.
“What they’re doing right now is huge for Veterans Bridge Home,” Cole said.
