“During our weeks long undercover investigation of Laney at this location, he sold increasing quantities of illicit drugs, leading us to believe he kept lots of drugs in his house,” said Sheriff Barry Faile. “We were correct, and we found nine different illegal substances during the search along with a lot of money and an arsenal of firearms. This was a hugely successful operation for the Task Force, SLED, and the DEA. I appreciate the help we got from those agencies. This operation again illustrates how successful we can be when agencies combine information and resources.”

Lancaster Police Chief Don Roper said, “We are very proud of the strong working relationship we have with other law enforcement agencies here in Lancaster County. We know the probability of these dangerous substances and illegally possessed firearms finding their way into the City of Lancaster is very real. This is a good example of how various law enforcement agencies are working together for the common goal of making our community a safer place for all. I want to thank all the agencies involved in getting these dangerous drugs and illegally possessed weapons off the street.”
