CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is excited to announce the start of the Clean Air Games Campaign in partnership with Charlotte Area NC Air Awareness and Sustain Charlotte.
Dates: June 24-July 26
- Objective: Encourage individuals to reduce the number of trips taken in single-occupancy vehicles (SOV) to help reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions and improve local air quality
How to participate:
- Choose your mode: Use carpooling, vanpooling, public transit (CATS Bus, light rail or streetcar), biking, e-biking, walking, e-scootering, lunch packing or teleworking.
- Log your trips: Record your trip reduction actions on the Qualtrics form. The more trips you reduce, the higher your chances of winning.
- Win prizes:
- Gold: Electric scooter and helmet
- Silver: Two tickets to Charlotte FC vs. Atlanta United FC on August 31, 2024
- Bronze: Portable volleyball set
