CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Wilson visited with tutors and students who are part of  Heart Math Tutoring at Montclaire Elementary School back in August.  Today he stopped back in to see how the students have progressed and how much they enjoy working with their tutors.

Wilson talked with students, teachers and tutors about the program and how much they are getting from the program.  He also crashed their big breakfast party.  And had a little fun with Derek back in the studio as well.

Heart Math Tutoring is a program that recruits, trains and supports volunteers who go into the elementary schools in Charlotte to tutor students.  These volunteers help bring an enthusiasm and fun for math to these kids in such a way that the kids develop a strong foundation in math as well as improve their academic performance.

They are always in need of volunteers.  To find out more about Heart Math Tutoring, everything they do and how you can volunteer, go to their website at hearttutoring.org.
