Frigid Through Friday, Unsettled Weekend

Friday will be the coldest day of the week with highs only reaching the upper 30s with gradually increasing clouds. Clouds will thicken Friday night with areas of freezing drizzle and scattered showers possible, mostly after midnight. With temperatures hovering at or just below freezing, slick spots may develop. Any ice that forms will melt after 10 am Saturday as temperatures warm above freezing. Cloudy skies will linger Saturday afternoon with a few spotty showers possible, Saturday will not be a washout. A better chance for showers and storms will arrive Sunday with temperatures warming back into the 60s.
