Davidson Police Looking For Hit And Run Suspect

DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson Police are seeking assistance locating a suspect involved in a hit and run, which injured a pedestrian, Monday afternoon.

Police say the pedestrian was struck in front of the PostNet, in the 600 block of Jetton Street, in Davidson. The victim, who suffered several fractured bones, was released from the hospital today but faces a lengthy recovery period.

The driver failed to stop at the scene.  The suspect vehicle  is a gold Toyota Highlander, and anyone with information about the driver of the vehicle is asked to contact Detective Jay Stokes at jstokes@townofdavidson.org or call the Davidson Police Department at 704-940-9633.
