CHARLOTTE, N.C. – CMPD is conducting a homicide investigation on Shadow Elm Drive near South Blvd, according to a news release.
The release states that officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon shortly before 2 am on July 29.
Officers say they found a man with multiple stab wounds, who was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are speaking with a person of interest, according to CMPD.
