WADESBORO, N.C. – After identifying a body on a roadside as 17-year-old Anthony Valladeres and determining he was struck by a vehicle, Wadesboro Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding the driver, according to a news release.

The release states that police found a body on Hwy 52 near Old Lilesville Road on July 26 and determined through an investigation that the individual was struck by a vehicle.
On August 4, police say the body was identified as 17-year-old Anthony Valladeres, who was reported missing on July 23.
Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of those responsible should contact the North Carolina State Highway Patrol by calling *47 on a cell phone.
