Missing Gastonia Teen Has Been Located

UPDATE: According to Gastonia Police, Jasmine Spurling, has been located in Gastonia   No further information has been released at this time.

 

GASTONIA, NC — Gaston County Police are looking for a missing 14-year-old girl they believe to be with a 34-year-old Mooresville man.

According to detectives, Jasmine Spurling, 14, was last seen walking near the Dollar General on S. York Road. Officials say she has called her mother since her disappearance and says she is safe, but her whereabouts is unknown.

Detectives say they believe Spurling is with John Taylor, 34, of Mooresville. He is believed to be driving a red 1986 Chevrolet Camaro with NC tag number PDH-9083. Police have issued a warrant for Taylor’s arrest charging him with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

Spurling is described as being 5 feet tall, around 110lbs, with brown hair, and blue eyes.
