CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — Β A man is dead after being shot eight times outside his residence near Cheraw, S.C.
Chesterfield County Sheriffs say James Henderson, 28, was shot and killed at a trailer park on Hillian Edwards Road, just outside of Cheraw.
Witnesses said Henderson returned home after dropping a friend off stating that people were out to kill him. Reports then indicate Henderson then a series of phone calls, before receiving a callΒ from a person asking him to step outside his home.
Witnessess saw four or five suspects confront Henderson outside of his home before hearing Β eight gunshots being fired.
Henderson was able to flee into a wooded area after the shooting, where he was found dead.
