Cold Temperatures Return, Snow Showers In The Mountains

Friday through the upcoming weekend will be noticeably colder with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 20s and low 30s. Skies will remain mostly clear in Charlotte but mountain areas will see on and off snow showers through Monday. Although no widespread heavy snow is expected, a few inches of snow may accumulate over the next 4 days.
