Updated Novavax COVID-19 Vaccine Approved

An updated COVID-19 vaccine from Novavax got the green light on Friday from the FDA.

The protein-based vaccine is for use in people ages 12 and older.

Novavax says doses could be available by the end of next week.

Earlier this summer, the CDC recommended everyone over six months old to receive both an updated COVID-19 vaccine and flu shot this year.
