Investigators Say Arson Is To Blame For Gastonia House Fire
GASTONIA, N.C. — Fire officials say someone intentionally set a home on fire in Gastonia. Firefighters responded to the house fire just after midnight Wednesday in Gastonia.
Firefighters say smoke and flames were visible when they arrived at the home on Essex Street.
The fire was extinguished in approximately 10 minutes with no injuries reported. At the time of the fire, the house was vacant; however, officials say the fire caused approximately $10,000 in damages.
