Huntersville PD Releases New Information On Last Week’s Murder-Suicide Investigation

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Officials have released their findings from last week’s death investigation, as well as the identities of the two bodies found inside the home.

According to Huntersville Police, officials have ruled the case to be a murder-suicide.

Around 2pm Wednesday, officials responded to a welfare check call at a home on Cross Meadow Road. The victim’s relative reported that the person had not responded after numerous phone calls. Inside the home, officers say they found the bodies of Elisa Slutzky, 47, and Kenneth Henson, 55. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds, according to reports.

The Medical Examiner’s Office says that the cause of death for Slutzky was the result of murder, and Henson was the result of suicide.

Huntersville Police say they are not looking for any other suspects in this case.
