Mt. Mourne Teacher ‘Adamantly’ Denies Charges Of Indecent Liberties & Assault On Female Student
IREDELL COUNTY, NC — 57-year-old Neil Krasnigor is charged with seven counts of Incident Liberties with a Minor and one count Assault on a Female.
The sheriff’s office says a report was filed on March 27 accusing the math teacher of touching students inappropriately. As the investigation progressed, more students were interviewed and new witnesses came forward leading to the arrest.
According to Iredell- Statesville Schools, Krosinger has been with the district since 2005. He started at Mt. Mourne IB in 2005, and worked at the school until 2009. He then went back to Mt. Mourne in 2013.
WCCB Charlotte spoke with his attorney,Β Melissa Owen, tonight.
Owen sent us a statement saying Krasnigor adamantly denies the charges, and that he has dedicated his career to excellence in education and is stunned by these allegations.
