Police investigating deadly shooting in north Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC – Police are investigating a deadly shooting in north Charlotte.

On Tuesday, around 3 a.m., officers were dispatched to an assault with a deadly weapon call on West Sugar Creek Road.

Police found a 35-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Medic says he died at the scene.

At this time, police have not released the name of the victim or said if any arrests have been made.
