Charlotte City Council Holds Adjustments Workshop For Proposed Budget
CHARLOTTE, NC — City council members held an adjustments workshop Wednesday to discuss possible changes to the $2.4 billion budget proposal.
One idea that came up was paid family leave for all city employees. Officials say the budget must be balanced however, so any changes and additions from city council must be examined by staff for the potential impact.
The council says they will continue working on budget adjustments until the straw vote on May 24th.
