Deputies investigating deadly shooting in Rowan County

ROWAN CO., N.C. – Deputies in Rowan County are investigating a deadly shooting in Woodleaf.

Investigators found 45-year-old Elliott Wilds suffering from multiple gunshot wounds around 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon on Hardy Lane.

Wilds later died from his injuries. No arrests have been made at this time.
