2-Year-Old Girl Nearly Drowns At South Charlotte YMCA

CHARLOTTE, NC — A 2-year-old girl has been taken to the hospital after a near drowning incident at a south Charlotte YMCA.

According to YMCA officials, the girl was pulled from a pool at the Morrison YMCA on Bryant Farms Road Wednesday afternoon. The child was in the pool with her mother, the spokeswoman says.

Officials say the child was alert and breathing when she was transported to CMC Main for treatment.
