CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for the person who set fire to the old Statesville Elementary School Tuesday night.
The Fire reportedly started around 11:40 p.m. last night and significantly damaged the inside of the building.
Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools still owns the property, which was most recently used as a day care.
The building has been abandoned since January.
