Police investigating deadly shooting in Uptown Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Uptown Charlotte.

The shooting happened on W. 8th Street just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Medic confirms the victim died at the scene.
