CHARLOTTE, N.C. — For the first time since 1995, the Pop Warner National Championships won’t be hosted in Orlando, FL. Instead, the Pop Warner Little Scholars, the nation’s leading youth football and cheerleading organization, has announced that Charlotte, NC will host the prestigious competition for 2025 and 2026.
Two events are currently organized. The Pop Warner Super Bowl is scheduled for December 6-13, 2025 at the state-of-the-art Mecklenburg County Sportsplex at Matthews. Additionally, the Pop Warner Cheer & Dance Nationals will be held December 8-11, 2025 at the 600,000 square-foot Charlotte Convention Center.
With events being held in the Charlotte area, hotels, attractions, dining, entertainment and local business are sure to benefit financially. The 2025 and 2026 Pop Warner National Championships could spark the first of many Pop Warner Little Scholars’ events to be held in Charlotte, NC.
