One Person Injured In East Charlotte Shooting
CHARLOTTE, N.C — A person has been injured after a shooting in East Charlotte Sunday morning.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 5600 block of Paces Glen Avenue just after 7:00 a.m.
Upon arrival, one victim was found at the Heatherwood Trace Apartments and treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Carolinas Medical Center according to medic.
There is no one in custody at this time and the investigation is still ongoing.
