Wilson’s World: Previewing the 2017 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club
CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Β Wilson almost couldn’t believe it (and neither could we), when he was given the OK to set up shop at the Quail Hollow Club early today to preview next week’s 2017 PGA Championship.
After finally parking his Parks Chevy Tahoe properly, he went into Quail Hollow’s Championship Shop where golf fans can stop into the 43,000 sq foot shop and pick up something for golfers and non-golfers alike.Β They also carry college merchandise as well.Β If you aren’t attending the Championship next week, you can still stop and shop at the store this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm when no ticket to the event is necessary to shop. Parking will be available at Charlotte Catholic High School with shuttle service to the store.
Jason Mengal, Championship Director, Tom Dolzier, General Manager of Quail Hollow Club, and Mike Quirk, PGA of America, each joined Wilson to talk about the Championship as well as the Championship Shop, parking procedures and getting prepared for a day of professional golf at Quail Hollow Club.Β One of the important tips that we received was to make sure that if you are driving to the event, go online and purchase a parking pass.Β Passes are limited.
The 2017 PGA Championship comes to Quail Hollow Club August 7th to the 13th.Β For more information on the 99th PGA Championship including tickets, events, parking and moreΒ go to their website HERE.
