Investigation Underway After Unoccupied Building Catches Fire In Concord

CONCORD, NC — Investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked a fire at a commercial building Wednesday night.

The fire started just after 7pm at a commercial building on McGill Avenue. Fire crews found smoke and flames coming from the building when they arrived. It took them nearly 20 minutes to get it under control, according to reports.

Officials say no one was inside the building when the fire broke out. The investigation is ongoing.
