Former Secret Service agent Bongino named FBI Deputy Director

WASHINGTON, D.C.– President Trump announced Sunday, he’s named former Secret Service Agent & conservative talk show host, Dan Bongino as Deputy Director of the FBI. Bongino will work alongside newly confirmed FBI Director, Kash Patel. The Deputy Director does not need senate confirmation. Bongino is a former Secret Service agent. He was highly critical of the Secret Service after there were two assassination attempts against President Trump during his run for President. President Trump posted on social media that Bongino is a patriot with “incredible love and passion for the country,” going on to say, “Bongino is willing to give up his popular radio show and podcast in order to serve the country.”
