LINCOLN CO., NC – A drug operation in Lincoln County ended with the arrest of a convicted felon.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit got a tip that 50-year-old Donnie Wallace was selling meth and fentanyl.
Investigators set up a traffic stop and pulled over the vehicle Wallace was in on February 19, 2025.
During a search of the vehicle, detectives say they found 20 grams of Fentanyl, methamphetamine, and a firearm.
Wallace is a convicted felon, so he’s not allowed to have a gun.
He is charged with trafficking in opium or heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a controlled substance in a penal institution.
